A small business paid more but it cost less
An 18-user Lexington, VA nonprofit organization was paying their old IT vendor $1,365 a month.
The ENC managed services plan ran about $1,000 more per month – but the nonprofit was able to immediately realize savings when E-N Computers retired their very expensive legacy phone system and replaced it with a state-of-the-art VoIP system for a fraction of the monthly cost.
Also, ENC was able to cut their internet service bill nearly in half. This resulted in a net savings of over $700 per month or $8500 per year.
Helping healthcare evaluate better (and more secure) software
MCV Foundation, the philanthropic arm of VCU Health, needed to replace their donor database, a critical line-of-business application. ENC was able to evaluate options and plan the replacement, while implementing best practices for data security.
Now MCVF has an improved donor platform that better meets their needs and is more protective of sensitive donor information.
M365 bring security and streamlined operations
ENC recently migrated the Waynesboro Redevelopment & Housing Authority (WRHA) from an outdated email system to Microsoft 365. This move provided much needed data protection and set the stage for streamlined document management with OneDrive and SharePoint.
WRHA previously relied on webmail, which used outdated and insecure email protocols like POP3 and IMAP and didn’t allow them to use their organization’s name as their email domain.
With the migration to Microsoft 365, WRHA now uses Outlook as their primary email platform, eliminating local manual backups and multiple logins and reduced spam.
